Resident Services Assistant

Be the friendly face of ​a fantastic residential building!

Synced are looking for an experienced Resident Services Assistant for our client within the residential property management sector in central ​Oxford.

This role would suit anyone in a similar customer facing role, for example - Customer Services Advisor, Sales Advisor/Executive, Community Associate, Resident Associate, Resident Services Advisor, Host, Hospitality Reception/Sales Executive.

What’s required…

In this role you’ll be the heartbeat of our clients site operations, ensuring their residents feel safe, supported and cared for. Whether it’s welcoming a new arrival, solving an issue or simply being a reassuring presence, you’ll help create a calm, secure and welcoming atmosphere​.

This is more than just a job, it's about being part of a community, making a difference and ensuring residents feel at home​.

Role Outline:

  • Be the go-to person for resident queries, support and guidance​.

  • Help build a welcoming, inclusive community with your friendly, proactive approach

  • Conduct viewings and support sales enquiries when needed

  • Manage check-ins, lockouts and general queries with empathy and efficiency

  • Respond to noise complaints and welfare concerns with a calm, professional approach

  • Solve problems on the spot, escalating when necessary

  • Carry out regular building patrols and safety checks

  • Respond quickly and confidently to incidents, alarms, and emergencies

  • Keep communal areas clean, tidy, and welcoming

  • Tackle light maintenance tasks e.g. changing bulbs or reporting issues

  • Log incidents, requests, and updates accurately

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A natural problem-solver who stays cool under pressure

  • A people person with strong communication and listening skills

  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer service to a diverse community

  • Organised, reliable, and able to juggle multiple tasks

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general admin systems

  • Experience of driving sales / bookings / lettings would be beneficial

  • Good awareness of Health and Safety
