The role:
You'll take ownership of day-to-day facilities operations across a range of residential assets, ensuring properties are safe, compliant and running to the highest standards. Working closely with on-site teams, contractors and senior management, you'll be the go-to person for everything from planned maintenance programmes to reactive issues and resident experience.

What you'll be doing (full job brief on application):
• Managing all hard FM services across the assets, including PPM schedules, contractor management and service charge budgets
• Ensuring full statutory and regulatory compliance - including fire safety, lifts, water hygiene and electrical systems
• Supporting compliance with the Building Safety Act and acting as a key point of contact for building safety matters
• Maintaining accurate records, CAFM systems and reporting to key stakeholders
What we're looking for:
Essential:
Around 5 years' facilities management experience within PBSA, BTR or a property-focused environment
Proven experience managing high-rise residential or mixed-use buildings
Strong working knowledge of statutory compliance obligations (fire, M&E, water, lifts)
Confident managing contractors, budgets and service charge reporting
Based within a commutable distance of the Birmingham to Bristol / Southwest corridor
Familiarity with CAFM software platforms
Desirable:
Working knowledge of or exposure to the Building Safety Act 2022 and its implications for higher-risk buildings
IOSH Managing Safely, IWFM membership, or a similar professional qualification
Experience as a named Building Safety Manager or supporting an Accountable Person
